Hair restoration in Hisar — FUE, DHI and PRP by a board-certified plastic surgeon
Over 1,000 procedures performed personally by Dr. Vikram Goyal (MCh Plastic Surgery, AOCMF Fellow). Natural, permanent results from certified surgical hands.
Hair transplant is surgery — qualification matters more than brand names
Most hair transplant centres in India are run by trained technicians, not qualified surgeons. At Saundarya Goyal Hospital, every step — from graft planning to extraction to implantation — is performed personally by Dr. Vikram Goyal, who holds an MCh in Plastic Surgery from Gujarat University and completed an AOCMF Fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York.
This matters because: hairline design requires an understanding of facial anatomy; graft survival depends on precision and surgical technique; complications require a qualified surgeon to manage; and a plastic surgeon understands how the scalp heals and ages over time.
Hair restoration techniques at Saundarya Goyal Hospital
FUE — Follicular Unit Extraction
Individual hair follicles are extracted from the donor area using a micro-punch device, then implanted into the thinning area. No linear scar. The donor area appears as tiny dots that heal within a week.
- Suitable for: Mild to advanced hair loss, patients who prefer a shaved-head option
- Graft survival: 90–95% in experienced hands
- Duration: 4–8 hours depending on graft count
- Recovery: Return to desk work in 3–5 days. Avoid strenuous activity for 14 days.
- Results: Visible growth from month 4. Full result at month 12.
DHI — Direct Hair Implantation
Using a Choi implanter pen, each graft is extracted and implanted in a single step — without prior channel creation. This allows higher density and precise angle control.
- Suitable for: High density requirements, beard restoration, eyebrow restoration
- Advantage over FUE: No pre-made channels, higher precision, slightly faster healing
- Duration: 5–9 hours · Recovery: 5–7 days
PRP Therapy — Platelet-Rich Plasma
Your own blood is processed to concentrate growth factors, then injected into the scalp. Used standalone for early hair loss, or combined with FUE/DHI to improve graft survival.
- 3–4 sessions, 4 weeks apart · No downtime · Suitable for early androgenetic alopecia
GFC Therapy — Growth Factor Concentrate
Advanced form of PRP using a higher concentration of growth factors. Clinical studies show improved hair density compared to standard PRP.
- 3 sessions, 1 month apart · Results visible from session 2
Who is suitable for hair restoration
You may be a candidate if you have: male or female pattern hair loss, alopecia areata, traction alopecia, hair loss following illness or medication, or desire for beard/eyebrow restoration with suitable donor density. Dr. Goyal assesses candidacy honestly in your ₹300 consultation.
Your hair restoration journey — step by step
Step 1 — Consultation (₹300): Dr. Goyal examines your scalp under a trichoscope. Assesses hair loss grade (Norwood scale), donor density, and scalp laxity. You receive a precise graft count estimate and procedure recommendation. No pressure.
Step 2 — Pre-procedure: Blood tests (CBC, blood sugar, clotting). Medications affecting bleeding paused 5 days prior. No smoking for 2 weeks.
Step 3 — Procedure day: Local anaesthesia applied — the only briefly uncomfortable step. Procedure takes 4–9 hours. You are awake throughout.
Step 4 — Days 1–10: Tiny crusts form. Do not touch. Wash from day 3 with prescribed shampoo. Most return to desk work by day 4–5.
Step 5 — Weeks 2–6 (shedding phase): Transplanted hair sheds — this is completely normal. Follicles are alive and intact below the surface.
Step 6 — Months 4–8: New hair emerges. Clear coverage visible at month 6.
Step 7 — Month 12: Final result. Transplanted hair is permanent — it will not fall due to the same hormones that caused the original loss.
Frequently asked questions
Is hair transplant painful? Performed under local anaesthesia. A brief sting during injection — seconds only. Once anaesthesia takes effect, the procedure is pain-free.
How long do results last? Transplanted grafts from the permanent donor zone are genetically resistant to DHT. Once transplanted, they are permanent.
How many grafts will I need? Norwood 2–3: 1,000–2,000 grafts. Norwood 4–5: 2,000–3,500. Norwood 6–7: 3,500–5,000. Dr. Goyal gives a precise estimate in consultation.
What does hair transplant cost in Hisar? Cost depends on graft count. Dr. Goyal gives an honest, itemised estimate in your ₹300 consultation. No packages, no hidden fees.
Can women have hair transplants? Yes. Female pattern hair loss (Ludwig scale) is treated with FUE and PRP. Dr. Goyal assesses female candidacy carefully.
Will anyone be able to tell? A well-executed hair transplant is undetectable. Dr. Goyal designs hairlines based on facial structure, age, and natural growth patterns.
